A website has been created to give the local community information and ask for views about a plan for a new future for Plympton House. The proposers are currently unknown. The concept is to return the site to a low density residential usage that allows the main house to be restored to its former glory but in a way suitable for use in the 21st century, all the while enhancing the village of Plympton-St-Maurice. They report to be working closely with Plymouth City Council and Historic England. They welcome the thoughts, views and ideas of the local community on what the future holds for this important building. They are holding an open public consultation by way of this website and feedback form, prior to commencement of the planning application process. They feel this was the fairest way to get as wide a range of views and opinions as possible in order to help guide the development strategy.
Feedback to be given by 18th October 2015.
